WE ARE MOVING!

I am pleased to announce that I am relocating and combining my practice with Drs. Joseph and Anthony LoVerdi. Our new address will be 815 Ayrault Road Suite 1 Fairport, NY 14450. This merge will be effective as of August 23, 2010. I have been considering a number of my colleagues who were interested in combining practices. I feel that Dr LoVerdi possesses the highest qualifications and has valuable experience and excellence in the field of dentistry.

Joe and his father Anthony have maintained a Fairport practice for the past 40 years. We have enjoyed professional association in several local study clubs throughout the years and through these developed mutual respects for each other's practice ideals.

Dr. LoVerdi graduated from his father's alma mater McQuaid Jesuit high School in 1985. Graduating from Villanova University with a BS in biology in 1989, he worked as a research scientist at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland concurrently pursuing graduate work in microbiology at Georgetown University. Joe graduated from his father's alma mater The Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, The University of Maryland Dental School where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Coincidentally, I also graduated from The University of Maryland, which accounts for our shared practice philosophy.

Dr. LoVerdi has taken well over 2500 hours of continuing education since graduating from dental school. He has completed the curriculum from the world renowned Pankey Institute, The Piper Center for Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction, The Dawson curriculum, Brodine Prosthodontic seminars, and course work at John Kois center for creating restorative excellence. He is the current founder, President and lecturer of the Rochester Pankey Study Club and The Richard T Rohrer study club. He also serves as a member of the American Dental Association, the Seventh District Dental Society of New York, the International Gnathologic Society American Chapter, and has been invited to his 6th session of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry as a guest.

In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife Sarah and his daughter Helena. He is also an avid golfer.

Many of you have asked and joked about my retirement and although I have lost much of my hair, I have not lost my love for dentistry. I intend to practice dentistry for many more years to come. This partnership will allow me to practice at a slower pace and still enjoy the challenges that make the profession so worthwhile.

I want to personally thank you for your trust and confidence in allowing me to take care of your dental needs. The merging of our practices will allow me to continue to provide you with the best dental care possible. Dr LoVerdi and I will be expanding our office hours to better accommodate your dental needs. We are also handicapped accessible.

I hope you will welcome this new arrangement, and we look forward to seeing you at our new location in the near future. Thank you again for your loyalty and confidence.
